Who We Are
We are an outreach ministry in the city of Harrisburg for the homeless, the downtrodden, and other needy people. Through hot meals, we reach out to the poor with a love and care that is so often missing yet desperately wanting in their lives. No one is turned away. Anyone in need of a hot meal or encouragement is welcomed.
Who We Serve
Because you care, hungry people have received over 18,720 hot, nutritious meals a year.
Our History
We have been “Feeding the Hungry of Harrisburg” for over 20 Years.
We starting one day a week and grew to serving five days for over fifteen years.
Now we are serving three nights a week, although the US economy has hurt us, we will continue to do the Lord’s work with His guidance.
Our Organization
We are a 501c3 non-profit organization.
Why We Do This
Having been close to homelessness myself with two small children many years ago, I know the need and felt the longing for someone to show me a kind heart.We have helped many poor and hungry people with other needs such as; shelter, clothing, and medical assistance. But we would like God’s children to know that others care as well. Only then might more come to the Saving Light of God through His Son and receive His Grace and Tender Mercies.
